“Telegram Premium” downloads that are really malware

Researchers have reported a fake Telegram Premium website that offers a Windows program and quietly installs information-stealing malware.

They have also reported a fake Premium app file for Android (.apk) that asks for access to notifications and messages, and shows a fake Telegram login page to steal your login.

Only get Telegram from the official app store or telegram.org. Never install an app file (.apk or .exe) because a chat or website told you to.
